The event went very well indeed, with a steady stream of visitors. The Albert layout ran for most of the time, whilst Tom hovered around his sales tables and Lyn and June organised drinks and eats in what space remained in the socal room. The n-gauge Burton on Shreen layout was kept running for most of the day, playing host to some distinctly un-British locomotives for a while. First of all, don’t forget that the club is holding an open day on December 10th 2016. We hope to have the Albert layout running, and stock has been checked to make sure that finger-poking is only required at rare intervals. M&DRM will be holding an open day in their clubhouse on December 10th between 10 am and 3 pm. In addition to at least one working layout, there will be sales of models and memorabilia. Light refreshments will be available, there is free parking outside the clubhouse in the Salisbury St car-park.
