Mere & District Railway Modellers are proud to present their 11th Model Railway Exhibition which will again be held on Fathers’ Day weekend, Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th of June. This year the Club will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the official opening of its clubhouse premises, and as a tribute has created a new OO Gauge layout, Mere Cross, which will be shown for the first time, together with the return of a familiar favourite young people’s layout, Thomas and Friends, also in OO Gauge. These club layouts will be supplemented by a further 12 superb visiting layouts in a wide variety of gauges and styles provided and operated by other local model railway clubs which, it is hoped, will help to make this the best small railway exhibition in the south west this year. Trader support will be provided for the first time by Model Railway Solutions, and as always our friends from the Ffestiniog Railway will be on hand to help us celebrate.

The admission price will be £5 for an individual adult, and £10 for a family of up to 2 adults and 2 children. A supply of light refreshments, including home-made cakes, will be available on site, and free car parks are located near by.

We sincerely hope this will all make for a great family day, not just for Father!
